Robin Cook Photography was born out of a life–long passion for taking pictures.  Following a successful career in the Sussex Police, Robin started a photographic business in 1981 from his garden shed.  This developed and diversified into a thriving company, Robin Cook Film Laboratories, which covered the whole of the South of England

Ever on the lookout for new challenges and driven by a love of new technology,  in 1989, Robin started a video production company making mainly corporate videos and TV commercials for ITV, this too flourished until the edit suite was sold to Sky TV in 1995 at the start of a recession.

With hindsight, Robin now sees this as positive, as it made him reassess what was important and what it was he enjoyed doing, and in 2005 Robin Cook Photography was reborn, with all the benefits of the latest digital equipment coupled with the wealth of 30 years experience honing and perfecting his art

Now producing beautiful images for the Wedding and Corporate markets, Robin says, “ I am glad I came back to photography at this time.  The technological advances have meant the possibilities are endless in terms of creativity.  That said, it’s all about having the skills and disciplines that I was fortunate enough to learn on film.  Too many people these days pick up an expensive camera and assume they will take great shots!”  He goes on to say “the one thing you can’t Photoshop is experience!
